With pick 8.2 Colorado selects; CI/MI Brett Lawrie, OAK, 4/6, $0.5m (he had such a bad year that I believe this is all he's due) He's owed at least the base salary of $1.0m. He did have the necessary HR's (12) to increase his salary to $2.0m, but being a 4/6 player, you cut the $2.0m in half down to $1.0m anyway. So Lawrie is officially $1.0m (4/6).

Mat Latos SP MIA (5/6) 5.25 Million Correct figures on Latos... He's a (6/6) player actually, as he had 10 GS and 50.2 IP in 2009, making 2010 his first year. He then had 184.2 IP (2010), 194.1 IP (2011), 209.1 IP (2012), 210.2 IP (2013), and 102.1 IP last year. He did miss some of the year, but a couple of his stats count. $1 base + $3 (3.25 ERA) + $3 (1.15 WHIP) = $7m and being (6/6), you pay 100% of it. So Latos should be $7m (6/6).

According to the Matt Harvey Rule he should be 5/6.
"An ML qualifying season is one in which the player... 2.) started more than 10 games for a starting pitcher or 3.) pitched more than 40 innings for a non-starting pitcher."
