I said it in the chat box, but that sometimes moves quickly. I think we need a rule in place around free agent bids being at the $100k mark. If it is a franchise tag and the real life salary goes to the dollar that is fine or it could be rounded up or down.
I think it is ridiculous for winning bids to be $300,005 that wins over $300,000, because it is essentially the same but wins because of the loophole in the rules. Down the road it is going to be a pain to deal with and bids are going to be all over the place. Essentially the $300,005 bid is the same as $300,000. Since the rules don't say it, technically we can have bids that are $300,000.01 and the one cent would win the bid. It seems like common sense, but there is always going to be someone that is going to play that game. To avoid this loophole, the rules need to be modified.

I don't really have strong feelings or thoughts, but I agree with Pete on this. I'm open to changing my position, but don't really see the need to nickel and dime a fantasy team together when we have $150M to work with, then again it's always fun to find one of the loopholes in the rules.

so you are good with me winning a bid with $300,012.98 ? Just seems silly.

It seems like trying to reason with you might make one, if not two of us, look like sense isn't so common. I said I agreed with your stance.
